Hi, I am Antonino, nice to e-meet you.
I am a professional English and Chinese to Italian translator and subtitler based in Italy.
I’ve spent over 5 years translating and subtitling copy and content for E-commerce, startups, LSPs, and global leaders in a wide range of industries.
Specializing in Marketing, Audiovisual, and Video Marketing translation, I help businesses thrive in the Italian market.
In the fast-paced digital world, finding a reliable translation partner to help you gain a foothold in the Italian market can be frustrating and daunting.
If you want to get your message across your domestic borders as
An E-commerce Business Owner
A Startup Owner
A Manager
to expand your business, get more customers, and ultimately reach
the Italian market and audience, you need a translator
who can deliver texts that will be as powerful as the original ones,
and who consistently complies with deadlines.
Why?
At least for 3 reasons:
– Speaking Italian is key: 90% of Italians only buy if they can read in their native language
– Strong local & international image: your audience abroad responds much better if your content is localized
– Time is money, and unforeseen delays can hinder your plans and impede your progress
I share your concerns and will ensure you hit your target.

How soon will I receive the quote?
You will receive the quote via email within a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 18 hours! Test it!
How does payment work?
Until we get to know each other better, I’ll ask for a deposit to be paid before we get the ball rolling.
We’ll discuss all this over email once you’ve let me know the details of your project.
Once you receive the quotation for your project, you can complete the payment via PayPal, Wise (formerly TransferWise), or by Bank Transfer.
How much do you charge?
Each project is different, so every quote will be too.
To receive an accurate and personalized quotation, I will need you to get in touch, as many factors need to be weighed in (such as the type of service, the length of the project, the complexity of the text, the topic, the word count, the turn-around time, etc.).
I charge for most translation projects by the word, and subtitling projects by the minute. But I usually work on an hourly or project rate for transcreation projects.
To give you a ballpark figure, my rates start at:
€0.085/word for translation
€10/minute for subtitling
€40/hour for transcreation
Please get in touch for a totally no-strings-attached quote tailored to you.
I’m in a rush, are you going to be able to meet the deadline?
I always give much importance to deadlines, and if you indicate a strict delivery date in the Instructions box, I will do anything I can to make your deadline. Just bear in mind that I charge a rush fee for projects with tight deadlines.
What’s your turnaround time?
It depends on many factors: the type of service, the length of the project, the topic, and my availability. In any case, I will point out how much time will be required for the completion of your project in the quotation.
However, if you have special requirements, you can always point out a specific deadline or time frame in the relevant section.
What if I need a revision?
You always get a free revision for every project you start, so you don’t have to worry about anything.
Which guidelines do you use for your subtitles?
I try to comply with Netflix’s guidelines for subtitling regarding characters per second, character per line, duration, gap, etc.
Of course, not every video is the same, and every video may need specific adjustments (e.g. sales videos), but I try to conform to these norms as much as possible.
